The previous game, Cake Mania: Main Street, introduced additional shops into the mix, and in Cake Mania: Lights, Camera, Action! this trend is developed up to three separate kinds of business – Cake Shop, Pizza Restaurant and Boutique. Gameplay in the bakery differs a bit from past Cake Mania gamesl. Jack has to take things in his hands as Jill needs to take a rest being in the family way. You know that Jack has a habit of breaking the equipment, so you are going to pay to have it repaired. As for Jill, she's still behind the counter helping out by decorating cakes with healthy fruit toppings.
In addition to the bakery, you'll also get to help out at Risha's fashion boutique and Gordo's pizza joint. That makes Lights, Camera, Action! really stand out from the crowd. Gordo's restaurant is a time-management game similar to Cake Mania where you combine ingredients on the counter to make pizzas, pastas and grilled dishes. Risha's shop combines time management and hidden object game-play as you must find the clothing customers order as soon as possible not to exhaust their patience.
