You will be truly surprised with this fresh and innovative game mechanics. Except classic hidden objects, you’ll enjoy word games, collectible hunts and even buy and earn different stuff for your library. As for the storyline, it loosely follows the narrative of the F. Scott Fitzgerald novel - The Great Gatsby. The dialogs and narration were taken strictly from the book, so if you like this literature masterpiece, than you will certainly like the game plot. You will act as Nick, Daisy’s cousin and neighbor to Gatsby for the summertime. One more feature of this game that differs it from the other HOGs is that the dialogs appear during every seek-and-find scene just after you clicking on some items.

There are also moving hidden object scenes where you have to find several object of the same type. The narrator is telling you his story and meanwhile you have to click on all – for example – clocks at the movie. You can completely ignore such scenes if you don’t like this kind of game-play, but if you’ll find all required object – you some additional money will be added to your level bonuses. Of course, these bonuses could be easily changed for decoration, artworks, books and even pets for your library. For random clicking at the HOG scene you will be fined and get less money at the end of the level.

Each location has a number of letters that will make up a word relating to the scene. You can guess the word before finding all the letters and get a big bonus for that. You can also decorate your library by finding the books hidden in each location. Your trophies are also displayed there. There is even nothing to tell about the mini-games – they are just splendid and so multifarious!

In a few words, Classic Adventures: The Great Gatsby moved stale hidden object format far more further and offers you really captivating playing time.
