Your adventure starts when the Royal House museum invites you to visit new exhibition of the 19th Century Art. All the exhibits displayed were found during the archeological dig on the territory of the museum. A strange picture was discovered among other finds. The woman depicted in it comes to life – her spirit lives the picture. She showed you the amulet stand situated near her portrait. This stand is the only thing that was retained from the powerful amulet that changed not only the fate of the pictured girl, but also the fate of many people throughout the land. According to the famous medieval legend, the members of the royal family were cursed and turned into stone by an evil witch. It is said that a stranger from the future saved them and defeated the witch with the help of the lost amulet. As you’ve already guessed, this stranger from the future is you, so don’t hesitate and travel to the past. The fates of all people of the kingdom are in your hands – collect the missing parts of the amulet and break the evil curse.

This game could be called rather a quest that a hidden object, but seek-and-find locations are not the rarity in Echoes of the Past: Royal House of Stone. Some times in the quest locations you will find the glowing areas indicating HOG scenes. The items in red mean that you should solve mini puzzle to find it. There are also a lot of mini-games that are extremely difficult and sometimes it’s even hard to understand the rules of the mini-game. But for this purpose the Skip button is created. But you should be warned, that if you’d like to skip the puzzle, don’t exit it until the Skip button will recharge. In this case you should wait for it to recharge from the start again. Use your journal in the upper left to gain valuable information about the game plot and your aims. Your hints are limited, but you could get additional hints by finding two hand mirrors each hidden object scene. The game starts you off with 10 free hints.
