Review:

From the very beginning you will get acquainted with Garret Ghostfighter. As you already guessed he’s an exorcist – the man who helps people to defeat demons and all kind of evil spirits. When Garret was a child he discovered his cursed gift: he sees demons and other awful things. From the cradle he already sees the grave.As his father became a priest it seems that it was his calling to become an exorcist. Our hero had imagined that all his enemies were defeated and deceased, but he had only deceived himself. Everything has changed when he saw the true enemy in this world. Two nights ago in Kreuzburg Garret was awoken by thunderous knocking at the door. When he opened it he saw only a letter pinned with dagger. It was from someone or something called Mephisto. He knew of Garret’s past and his love – this creature knew far too much about our hero. Many innocent people will suffer at the claws of Mephisto’s demons. Take the chance to catch this corrupted man, cunning demon or whatever he is and you will not only save lots of people, but also find out what has become of Garret’s beloved Margo.

This hidden object quest is very unusual – sometimes it gets too easy and at the same time it could become extremely challenging. As always, you have to collect the items from the list at the bottom of the screen. The items in blue are temporary unavailable so you have to use your inventory stuff to get them. Each location you have to banish one of Mephisto’s daemons to get to the next location. In order to travel to another place – or to progress further through the game – you have to find all the pieces of your cruel enemy’s letter. In his letters Mephisto shows you the places he cursed. Sometimes to open secret caches and doors to the next level you have to play mini-games. As for me, sometimes they are too hard and it’s very difficult to understand even the logic of the puzzlers. But for “blondes” like me the game developers added Skip button, but, of course, it takes some time to recharge. So, if you are bored of all these simple classic HOGs and want to play really challenging and brain-teasing game the game Exorcist would be the right choice!
