Review:

The story of Haunted Hotel: Lonely Dream will immerse you in a thrilling adventure you will never forgot. You will meet again your old fellow FBI Agent Sundey who is in action again and going to chase the cult leaders that are still occupied the Lonely Dream Hotel. This place could hardly be called a hotel - it’s a infernal time machine that uses people creative energy as fuel, preferring artist and those types. So, the hotel sends its guests reeling through time and space to other dimensions. Join brave detectives and break inside this resident of evil, find the remaining people, help them get out of there and, of course, arrest goons responsible for this madness. To prevent further troubles with this place, dismantle the time machine by modifying some of its major parts that are stored in hotel’s rooms.

This game is a significant improvement over its predecessor and now it can get one of the top places in HOG charts. All fans of the games where hidden object and quest genres are mixed could be very satisfied by this high-quality product. The game-play in general remained the same. When you move cursor over the active items it will highlight and the cursor will change to an eye (if you can inspect this area closer), gears (if you can perform some action on this item or area), hand (if you can collect an item) or feet (that will lead you to another area). To recollect the story you can read a notepad and to reread your goals just click on the Tasks button on your toolbar at the bottom of the screen. When you perform an action like clicking on certain things or using items, Thought dialog will appear at the top of the screen. It contains text that will help you out by describing items or actions performed to help you on your quest. If you get stuck you can use a Hint. The Hint button will be available both for quest and for seek-and-find locations. In the quest it will give you a clue on what you have to do next and in HOGs it will show you the item you can’t find. Sometimes it could be very useful.
