Haunted houses are often seen as being inhabited by spirits of deceased who probably have been former residents or were familiar with the property. Entities which are said to 'haunt' homes are often believed to make noises, appear as ghosts, and shift or launch physical objects. Now you have certainly guessed – yes, а new hidden object hunt is waiting for you. Return to the Haunted Hotel in the exciting sequel Haunted Hotel 2: Believe the Lies!

A year after the events of the first game has passed. The main character, a lone agent of Federal Bureau of Investigation, just feels (by his detective intuition) that there’s something wrong with one more inconceivable hotel, the Lonely Star, and hurries up to take this case and unravel the mystery. Opening the door of haunted hotel and investigating its rooms, our agent discovers that the mystery is deeper than originally suspected.

You will search various rooms and look for hidden objects on the list. Some of found objects will be added to your inventory. After you have found everything in one scene you start the investigation. Here you should find out which object to click on to continue the adventure. Good news is that you are not limited with time and each scene you are awarded with five hints to use them when you are stuck.

There is much more diversity saying about mini-games in the second part of this hidden object mystery. Some of them, such as deciphering a computer code or hacking a fuse box, are rather challenging and demand your wit brain and logic abilities. Though you can skip any puzzle if you don’t feel like completing it. As for me, I liked nearly all of them and couldn’t even wait for the next mini-game appearing.

In Haunted Hotel 2 instead of pages of text like in the first part the story this time is presented by short sentences. Hidden object scenes look great and you can notice that they are thematic now. Theme of each scene is defined by the profession of this or that room occupant. The musician’s room, for example, is full of musical instruments and you can also see famous composers’ portraits on the wall.

Graphics is really very improved in comparison with Haunted Hotel and all scenes are very pleasant to look at in spite of eerie environments. You will also like the music which is composed of different styles and goes well with an intriguing mystery surrounding Haunted Hotel 2: Believe the Lies.

In general I can say that second part is a significant improvement over its predecessor and this will make all the hidden objects fans really happy.
