This story begins with awful car crash. Young father died leaving his wife Kathleen and little daughter Emily crying at the edge of muzzy rocks. Woman's brother Peter remained the only man in this family. Several years have passed and he came to congratulate his niece with her seventh birthday. They have formed a special bond since David - girl's father - died. Foretasting the great day the family goes to their beds. Loud knocking woke Kathleen in the middle og the night. The alarm clock and the operated clock on the wall had stopped at exactly the same time – 11:59 – one minute before Emily's birthday. The girl's room was closed and through the keyhole her mom saw that the kid has been taken inside her drawing by some dark shadow. After that the picture was destroyed.
