Four hundred and forty-five years after the invention of the steam engine, Kira Robertson was having an ordinary day when suddenly she’s got a Pneumo-Mail letter. A friend of her offered Kira a bet that she can’t steal the helmet belonging to her neighbor Police Chief Bow. That was a five-minute business for her, but after that she had to hear out a half-an-hour speech of her dad about embarrassing behavior and stuff. After this not very pleasant talk she was closed in her room being punished by house arrest. That was the worst for her as Kira is definitely not a home-seater and she can’t live without adventures. But what’s that? Oh, it’s a paper plane with a letter inside. There was a challenge inside: “Kira, Would you like to play a game? Would you like to try to find the Snark, a creature only a few people have seen and no one has caught?” It was an iffy question! One thing Kira need to know about the Snark is that it could pass through mirrors into a backward world. So don’t hesitate and travel to the world behind the looking-glass and be the first to catch this mythic creature!

The game-play is a bit similar to Mortimer Beckett hidden object game. You’ll see several objects that you need to complete each chapter of the game. To obtain them, you need to collect all of their parts. Fragments marked in red are not available and you need to take some action like move, open or break something to get the part you need. The cursor changes into a magnifying glass when it moves over the area at which you can take a closer look. Be very attentive and write down every single number you’ll se. You will need it in a while to solve puzzles and mini-games. Sometimes you are to solve several locations at time or the same location in normal and backward worlds. Each location will have its own objects to find, but sometimes they will correlate.
