In these uncertain times, our story takes us to the distant Tetala Island, where young Aruku, chieftain of Hawk Tribe, will face the challenges of leading her tribe to glory and prosperity while struggling for peace and harmony throughout the land and sea. To bring the happiness back to this small tribe, you have to gather 6 holly Totems and hand them back to the Cradle of the North. Follow the guidance of the Ancients and old prophecies traveling between picturesque islands and getting new friends who will help you to cope with hostile tribes. You will build huts and lodges for scouts and warriors, witches and craftsmen. First of all, it should be mentioned that Totem Tribe could be compared with Virtual Villagers and even have similar storyline theme, but the game-play itself a bit different. Everything in this game is designed very carefully and well starting from game mechanics and the difficulties of levels and ending by stunning graphics with jolly colors and unforgettable characters. The game is not difficult except the very last level where you have to struggle with something that could be called a Boss in other casual games. There are plenty of levels in the game so you can play if for long hours. Moreover you can get back to any given level if you need to take some object there. I dare say that this game doesn’t have any significant disadvantages. The only thing that could probably irritate you is the animals that live in the islands you are traveling between, because you may think that you have to defeat them. But, in deed, they are just wandering around the islands and you shouldn’t waste your time on trying to kill lions or crocodiles.
