The hidden object and questgames are on the top of the wave now. And some game genres are developing andappearing online in their shade. But it absolutely doesn’t mean that such gameshave no fans or are expected less than Mortimer,Jewel Quest or new sequel from MCF series. Today we are going toplease all the players of simulatorand strategy games. Enjoy a newsequel of Westward series – Westward III.

If the gameis very popular, it means that the developer of the game (today it is Sandlotgames company) has tried its luck in a new genre and succeeded a lot. By theway, this company mastered trade simulator Trade Winds. Then why not trying tomake a sequel? And if the game is still popular as its predecessor - then thethird part is on its way. Wild, wild, wild west is challenging and calling foryou. Meet Westward III – newadventures, new lands to explore and new missions to complete.

At thebeginning you will have to choose between three heroes (one man and two women).Why so? May be women began to love simulator games? So, let’s meet our heroes:a cowgirl style lady Polly, a real American man Amos and a native young girl Shawnee Longfeather. And no matter what character you will choose you will haveto complete the same set of tasks. I guess big boys will choose a man and girls(with much wider range of characters comparing to men’s) will pick one of thegirls. As in previous parts you will beoffered to learn tutorial and for a start you will be given simple missionswhere you can learn the basic action that your hero can complete. For example:collect woods, make fire woods, collect berries and food (already cooked meat!),and search for gold nuggets, of course.

Everyaction is made in one click (if you completed previous chapters of wild west adventures) you will havenothing new to learn in ruling your hero. By the way, as a real fan of strategygame you can rule your hero with the help of arrow keys. Unfortunately the setof the voicing is very poor and you will have a strong will to turn the soundoff after completing a tutorial. But luckily, voicing is the only drawbackhere.

You willhave cool and challenging missions to be completed. After mastering some notvery difficult actions you will be taught how to repair a shed, dig or repair awell, build a tent and help all the native citizens on your way to prosperity.Hey, greedy men, you are not welcome here! Because, as it was done in all thevariants of simulator games and inprevious games of Westward series, you are developing and teaching your hero totrain and get the experience which can’t be bought. No matter how many nuggetsof gold you have collected. Mind, if you are starting your mission (repairingthe shed, for example), you will need much fire wood and gold. Otherwise, youwill lose all your property, won’t complete a mission and will have to start itover again.

On makingyour way through the Wild West you can see that the map graphics sometimesblur. But you can avoid such lack ofgraphic effects by adjusting the map view to your liking while completing gametutorial. And in some minutes you will completely forget about them because youwill be captured by cool 3D graphic that won’t freeze on your PC and looksalive.

You willhave many missions to be completed. The great thing is that you won’t have toadjust the map each time you receive a mission task. The map has borders in which your mission hasto be completed. Great! And by the way the tutorial is exhaustive and you won’thave any small item missed. So won’t skip it even if you are a master ofsimulator and Westward III is yourlong-awaited gift for long winter evenings. At least, you will meet all theheroes and see the inhabited lands.

The gamefans won’t be disappointed and you will definitely like these adventures evenif you are a shooter games fan. Why? Because in spite of some graphics lacksthe game play is made mastery and the set of missions is vary a lot.

Trialperiod won’t be enough to taste all the featuresof the game but is enough to make you a fan. But 3D graphics, funny sounds andgame-play placed in the south west territories of the USA and crowdedby dozens of different and unique characters make it a good choice for youpacked in 47 MB.
