Wild West Story: The Beginning

Review:

This story is about Bella Jane. Her parents, rich French nobles, came to Louisiana, in the New World, because they wanted something different for their children. But when Bella was 15, her father was shot in a robbery and her mother perished soon after, leaving the girl with a large house, a strong education and a broken heart. The Wild West is not a place for a single teen girl, but Bella wasn't a regular girl. She was a lone wolf and doesn't have friends. But that was a benefit, because you can't loose what you don't have. Yet sometimes faith plays tricks on you and Bella found a good friend in the person of little lonely boy named Coyote Cub, who actually was really special. He could speak with wolves and rescued our heroine from their attack. His parents had been burned by the same Black Hills Bandits that killed her father. Hate blinds the eyes and enslaved the minds of recently minted friends. But wise Indians words tell us that eagles never hate, that's why they can fly. So they followed this magnificent bird into the night, thinking it was a good sign. In the morning they came to a place of peace and joy, a deserted town only for them. A dream of girl's parents pursued their entire life, so friends decided to start over in this forgotten place. Join their quest in Wild West Story: The Beginning.

Mechanics of the game reminds me the one you can see in Lamp of Aladdin. You are to guide Bella through the labyrinth of colorful tiles, clearing up a road by matching jettons of the same color. This is your main goal, but simultaneously you have to comlete 100% of the level by breaking all tablets under the tiles. If you miss at least one you won't get maximum bonus score that means less gold for you. This gold you will use to build up your town. Of course you can get bonuses, dynamites and other helpful things for matches of more than 3 tiles. But one of them seems so irritating to me. When you've made several matches without swapping the tiles, Coyote Cub's bow charges up and he shoot lightning arrows that will help you to clear the road faster. It happens without your control and sometimes may cause untimely end of the level. It's getting annoying when you are tying to destroy all tablets. But still you can forestall it by making matches without braking the tablets, this way Coyote's bow gets uncharged.
